Since July 2012 I have been the Editor of LivableStreets Alliance’s Street Headlines. I organize and publish the Alliance’s biweekly newsletter exploring recent events in urban planing both in the Boston Metro area as well as across the globe. In summer 2013, I was offered the Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship for the academic year 2013-2014. As a Fellow, am studying intermediate Turkish and pursuing a Middle Eastern regional specialty within my field of transportation planning.
In the fall of 2013 I enrolled as a student at Berkeley’s College of Environmental Design. I am pursuing a Master of City Planning degree with a focus on transportation planning. My current coursework focuses on statistical analysis of community demographics, comparative planning practices, and transportation and land use planning.
